We drove along the south coast of South Africa from Cape Town through Knysna and Port Elizabeth and Durban, then up the eastern coast towards Swaziland. In Swaziland we stayed at a little game preserve.

In Durban, we stayed in a family's house which becomes a bed and breakfast, the Thatch Inn, on demand. They were very friendly and accommodating. |

The Aviemore restaurant in Port Elizabeth served us a delightful lunch even though no other customers showed up. Martin Potgeiter, the son of the owner, pours some wine (and let us drink an older vintage by the glass). |
