We took a taxi. We could have ridden in the back of a truck.

At one point we stopped for gas at this station.

At another point the bridge was out, and we drove through a few backyards and across a muddy patch, paying some tolls/bribes along the way, until we were back on the main road.

Dinner: frogs, chicken, fish, soup.

A frog in the garden outside our hotel room.

A plumeria flower on a small tree in the hotel garden.

Taking pigs to market on the back of motorbikes. Usually there were two pigs mounted as shown.

Magenta water lilies along the road.

Harvesting rice.

Our incredible taxi driver Huck, who drove as fast as possible but who knew the location of every pothole and slowed down appropriately. He drove a Camry (all passenger cars in Cambodia appear to be Camrys).
